Edward J. "Bill" Jowers, 75, of Brownfield were held Tuesday, Oct.
9, in the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.
Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of
Brownfield Funeral Home. Mr. Jowers passed away Sat., Oct. 6, 2007, in Brownfield. He was born Nov. 2, 1931, in Portales, N.M. He married Frances Oliphant, May 25, 1950, in Haskell. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2000. Mr. Jowers owned and operated Triple J Grocery in Brownfield for close to 50 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by one son--Jasper Jowers and his wife Latrica of Brownfield; three grandchildren--Joshua Jowers and his wife Amber, Johnathon Jowers and his fiance--Blythe Carter and Jarisa Jowers and two great-grandchildren, Bryson and Braydon Jowers. He is also survived by one brother--Bob of Brownfield.
