Sammie Jordan, 83, of Brownfield will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March
9, 2007, at the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev.
Jackie Matlock officiating. Sammie went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, March 5, 2007, in Brownfield. She was born November 22, 1923, to Ed and Oma Crossland in Terry County and grew up in Terry County where she graduated from Union High School. She married Bennett Jordan on November 22, 1947, in Tahoka. She was an Eastern Star member and was also a member of First Christian Church. She is preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. She is survived by her husband, Bennett Jordan; daughter; Charlotte Franklin; 2 Sisters; Billie Howell and Nora Crossland; 2 Brothers; E.H. Crossland and Don Crossland; 3 Grandchildren; Kimm Duncan, Craig Franklin and his wife Tasha, Candy Garrett and her husband, Greg; 5 Great Grandchildren: Justin Garrett, Jacob Garrett, Caleb Franklin, Cody Hughes, and Karly Hughes, and several nieces and nephews.
