Bea Joplin

                                Services for Bea Joplin, 80, of Brownfield, were held Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005,
                                in the First Christian Church with Rev. Jerry Joplin officiating.   Burial was in
                                Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
                                Home.     Mrs. Joplin died Tuesday, Nov. 8, in a Lubbock hospital.

                                She was born June 7, 1925, in Slaton and was married to Lewis P. Joplin on
                                Sept. 22, 1941, in Morton.  He died on July 6, 1985.

                                Mrs. Joplin graduated from Slaton High School.   She lived in Clovis, NM.,
                                Odessa, Lubbock and Slaton prior to moving to Brownfield in 1960.   She moved
                                to Lubbock a few years ago.   She was a member of the First Christian Church.

                                She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Rogers, and her husband, John, of
                                Lubbock; one son, Rickey and his wife, Susan, of Brownvield; one sister, Minnie
                                Lee Sloan of Dallas and by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.   She
                                was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister and one grandson, Cody Rogers,
                                in 1996.
