Jesse Johnson, Jr, 85, of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
November 17, 2010, at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds
officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under
the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Jesse passed away Monday, November 15, 2010, in Brownfield. He was born September 10, 1925, in Denison to Jesse and Sara Brown Johnson. In 1936 he and his family moved to Brownfield. He attended Brownfield Schools. Jesse married Florence Lanell Clark on March 9, 1946, in Brownfield. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2003. He was a foreman for Ozark-Mahoning from 1964 until retiring in 1987. Jesse enjoyed many years of fishing at their summer home on Lake Stamford. He was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. He is also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Jesse is survived by his son, Jerry Johnson and wife Jodi of Brownfield; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
