Raymond Jackson, age 75 passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Brownfield Regional Hospital in Brownfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, July 10, 2010, at the Brownfield Bilingual Foursquare Church with Rev. Michael D. Hudson officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brownfield.   Personal services are under the direction of Mark A Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.

Raymond was born October 3, 1934, to Robert and Clovis Jackson in Elysian field, Texas. He lived in Brownfield for over 50 years and worked with Fayne Smith and Anderson Grain for many years as a farm hand.

Mr. Jackson's family remembers him as a hard working man who like to fish and rabbit hunt. He especially enjoyed being around his family.

Raymond is survived by 2 sons: Ronald Jackson and wife Mary and John P. Jackson both of Hobbs, New Mexico; 1 sister: Annie Sue Coleman of Brownfield and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by parents: Robert and Clovis Jackson; Wife of 45 years, Ethel Mae Jackson in 2007; 3 daughters: Dorothy, Shirley and Linda; 2 sons: Richard and 1 baby; 4 brothers: Gene Jackson, James Jackson, Will Jackson and Robert Jackson Jr. and 1 sister: Marde Ruth Fitts William.
