Howell, 81, of Brownfield passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010,
in Brownfield. Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 27, at Brownfield Cemetery with Michael Horton officiating. Ouida was born on January 22, 1929, in Brownfield to Alton and Mattie Green. She attended schools in Meadow as a child. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Wal-Mart Coffee Club. She is preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Romie Green, Bill Green, Lee Roy Green and Darrell Green. Ouida is survived by three sons, Leo Joseph LaBadie of Brownfield, Larry LaBadie and his wife, Lesa, of Brownfield and Stacy Howell and his wife, Donna, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; her daughter, Freida Riley and her husband John of Hobbs, N.M.; her brother, Troy Green and his wife Doris of Seminole; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
