| Margaret Horner, 89, passed away
Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, in Brownfield. A
graveside service was held Nov. 3 at Terry County Cemetery with
Pastor Mark A. Jones officiating. Personal services are under the
direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Mrs. Horner was born Dec. 22, 1919, to Robert O'Neal and Maggie Curry in Cement, Okla. She married Willie Horner on Dec. 31, 1938, in Morton. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 2001. Margaret was an accounting clerk for KCBD-Channel 11 and worked for the Lubbock AJ in the circulation department. She was a Methodist. She is survived by one son, Terry Horner and wife Melinda of McKinney; and two daughters, Rebecca Faye Sansom with husband Freeman of Brownfield and Barbara Warden with husband Steve of Georgetown. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents, five brothers, two sisters, and one infant son, Billy Bob, in 1942. Brownfield News |
