"Raymond" Holguin, 43, of Fort Worth passed away Sunday, June 14,
2009, in Fort Worth. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June
17, 2009, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald
Leatham officiating. Interment followed at Brownfield Cemetery under
the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Rosary was held at 6:30
p.m., Tuesday, June 16, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Raymond was born on September 19, 1965, in Brownfield to Esidoro and Agripina Holguin. He attended schools in Brownfield where he graduated from High School. He then received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Texas in El Paso. He worked for Brownfield News and was editor of the Flowermound News. He is preceded in death by his father in 1994 and his brother, Ramon Holguin in 2003. Raymond was a loving son and brother who was dearly loved by his family and friends. His laughter was infectious. We will miss you but rejoice for you in heaven. Raymond is survived by his mother, Agripina Holguin: seven sisters, Torivia Constancio, Mary Alice Villarreal, Elodia Gonzales, Lydia Gomez, Margie Vasquez, Diana Bradley and Elizabeth Perez; six brothers, George Holguin, Julian Holguin, Esidoro Holguin Jr., Ruben Holguin, Roy Holguin and Daniel Holguin and numerous nieces and nephews.
