Willie "Knox" Hinkle, 96, of Brownfield will be held at 10:00am
Friday, July 10, 2011, at Calvary Baptist Church with burial
following at Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held
from 6 to 8 at Brownfield Funeral home. Knox passed away July 5, 2011, in Brownfield. He was born on February 4, 1915, to Willie Pratt Hinkle and Carrie Bell Brown in Azle, Texas, and married Helen Ruth Gray on December 23, 1938, in Plains. He is preceded in death by his wife, 7 brothers, Clarence Hinkle, Luther Hinkle, Raymond Hinkle, and Jessie Hinkle, Leslie Hinkle, Elbert Hinkle, Wesley Hinkle and 1 sister Maye Hinkle. Knox is survived by his son, Gerald Hinkle of Brownfield; a sister, Faye Bearden and Husband Alford; 3 sister-in-laws, Ida Hinkle of Wolforth, Francis Upton and husband Charles of Brownfield, Nadine Mobley; of Andrews; and many Nieces and Nephews.
