Toyebelle Barton Herring, 94, of Union will be Tuesday, December 27,
2011, at 2pm in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Don
McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in the Terry County Memorial
Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Toyebelle passed away on Saturday December 24, 2011, in Seminole. She was born on September 27, 1917, to Matt and Ruth Barton in Quanah and graduated from Union High School. She is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Herring, three sisters, Robbie Hulse, Clover Chambers, Wanda Barton, and a brother, Elvoyd Barton. Toyebelle is survived by a daughter, Treasure Thaggard; a son , Nick Sullivan; five grandchildren, Ann Marie McGaha, David Martin Sullivan, James Allen Walley, Jack Arnold Walley, Joe Bradley Thaggard; five great grandchildren and a sister Johnnie McCutcheon. |
