Hernandez, age 68 passed from this life on Monday, March 29, 2010,
in Lubbock. Funeral Services for Mr. Hernandez were held Friday, April 2, 2:00 P.M. at Templo Sinai Asambleas De Dios in Brownfield with Rev. Raul Gutierrez officiating. Burial followed in Brownfield Cemetery. Personal services were under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Frank was born February 4, 1942, to Fernando and Teresa Hernandez in Lockhart, Texas. He moved to Levelland in 1998 from Kansas. He married the love of his life, Canuta Gonzales, in Brownfield on December 13, 1954. She preceded him in death on August 24, 1998. Mr. Hernandez is remembered as a hard working farmer. He loved to purchase, restore and sell old cars. Frank enjoyed talking to anyone, teasing the family and playing jokes. Those left to cherish his memories are 2 Sons: Marty Hernandez of Levelland and Fernando Hernandez of Liberal, Kansas; 1 Daughter: Norma Barrera and husband Joe of Brownfield; 3 Brothers: Santos Hernandez of Levelland, Crispen Hernandez of Brownfield and Aldolfo Hernandez of Lubbock; 4 Sisters: Nicolosa Martinez, Estella, Manuela and Juana Sanchez all of Levelland. He also leaves behind 7 Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by both parents: Fernando and Teresa Hernandez: Wife: Canuta in August 1998 and 1 Grandson: Joe Barrera, Jr. in 2005. Brownfield News |
