services for Irene E. Hatala, 83, of Brownfield will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Irene was born on Oct. 7, 1924, to Archie "Bud" and Annie Chaney in Danville, Va. She moved with her family to Hazelpark, Mich. where she attended schools. She married Robert Hatala on June 10, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Taylor of Brownfield and Annie Rone of California, four sons, Rick Hatala of California, Scott Hatala of California, Matt Hatala of California and Robert Hatala of Brownfield; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and her brother Clyde Chaney of Florida.
