Services for Wayne Lewis Hare, 66, of Brownfield were held Monday, June 26,
in the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating. Burial
was in
Throckmorton Cemetery in Throckmorton. Hare died Saturday,
June 24, 2006
in Brownfield.
He was born Nov. 14, 1939, in Elida, N.M. to Austin and Cora Myrtle Hare
and
moved with his family to Brownfield in 1949. He graduated from Brownfield High
School.
He was employed by Jenkins Electric in Post and was a lifelong resident of
Brownfield.
He was a member of the Terry County Sheriff's Posse, Texas Cattleman's Assoc.
and the Immanuel Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter--Lela Roe of Hobbs, N.M.; one son--Rodney of
Brownfield and two grandchildren--Brandon Waters of Roswell, N.M. and Aimee
Waters-Grenko of Hobbs, N.M. He is also survived by one
great-grandchild:
Cooper Grenko of Hobbs, N.M. He was preceded in death by his
parents and
two brothers---Charles A. and Jimmy L. Hare.
Memorials may be made to the Texas Boys Ranch and Odyssey Hospice.
