                Memorial Services for Lloyd "Scoop" Hahn, 88, of Brownfield will be at 11:00 a.m.
                Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Beverly
                Titus officiating.   Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction
                of Brownfield Funeral Home.

                Lloyd died Saturday, October 22, 2005, in Lubbock.   He was born July 11, 1917, in Marietta,
                Oklahoma, to the late T. H. and Nettie Hahn.   He graduated from Lamesa High School.  He
                graduated from Texas Tech in 1941 and served in the United States Navy as a pilot during
                World War II.  Lloyd married Eleanor Doss January 27, 1943, in Dallas, Texas.   She preceded
                him in death December 25, 1989.   They moved to Brownfield from Meadow in 1951.   He
                farmed in Terry County for over 50 years.

                Lloyd served on the Brownfield City Council from 1967 to 1971 and served as Mayor of 
                Brownfield from 1972 to 1976.  He was a member of the American Legion and the Brownfield
                First United Methodist Church.   He was a 32nd Degree Mason.

                He is survived by a daughter, Beth Maddux, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; a son, David Hahn
                of Kansas City, Kansas; three granddaughters and four great grandchildren.
