Earl Eugene Guinn

Services for Earl Eugene Guinn, 68, of Brownfield were held Friday, March 3,
in Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tommy Sanders officiating, assisted
by Rev. Randy Hamilton. Burial was in Terry County Memorial
Cemetery.
Mr. Guinn died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, in Brownfield. He was born
Nov. 5,
1937, in Dumas to Andy and Thelma Guinn and was married to Ruby Nunley on
Sep 7, 1957, in Crosbyton. He and his wife moved to Brownfield in
1991. He
attended school in Santa Rosa, NM., where his family lived for 22 years.
He was employed by the Santa Rosa Police Department where he established the
Mounted Patrol Division. He also loved to play the guitar and sing
Country and
Gospel music with the group.
He is survived by his wife; two sons: Jimmy of Brownfield and Melvin of
Memphis,
Texas, and two daughters: Carla Carrasco of Riverside, Calif., and Jody
York of
Martindale, Texas. He is also survived by two brothers:
Merle and Bud Guinn
both of Santa Rosa, NM; three sisters: Louise McFarlin of Amarillo, Bobbie
Guinn
of Santa Rosa, NM, and Margaret Simpson of Cosmopolis, WA., and by 16 grand-
children and 12 great grandchildren.
Mr. Guinn was preceded in death by one son, Jerry, in 1992; one great-grandson;
two sisters, Anna Harley and Viola Vigil and by two brothers, Glenn and Billy
Earl.
Pallbearers were Bruce Dorsett, Tommy Dale McFarlin, Gilbert Coronado, Jr.,
Rudy Garcia, Jr., Eric McElroy, Wayne McFarlin, Steve Guinn and Kris Hiracheta.
