| Hans K. Grosstueck, 55, passed away
December 16, 2010, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2010, at First United Methodist Church in Brownfield with Pastor Ruby Moultrie officiating. Personal services were under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Mr. Grosstueck was born November 27, 1955, to Kurt and Marianne Grosstueck in Germany. He was a lifetime resident of Brownfield and graduated from Brownfield High School. He married Debra Elliston, October 9, 1993, in Seagraves. He was employed by West Texas and Lubbock Railroad where he worked as a supervisor. Hans loved his family and he loved Christmas time. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, working in his yard and his motorcycle. But most of all, he loved licorice. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of the home; his mother, Marianne Grosstueck of Colorado City; two sons, Erik of Lubbock and Derik of Brownfield; two daughters: Krista Moore and husband Brian of Lamesa and Leta Koehler and husband David of Lamesa; one sister, Ursula Lakey of Sylvester, and five grandchildren, Brian Moore Jr., Gage Berta, Reagan Koehler, Brayden Koehler and Autumn Moore. He is preceded in death by his father, Kurt in 2008, and his grandparents. Brownfield News |
