Obituary for
Mary Viola Green

Services for Mary Viola Green, 83, of Boerne and formerly of Brownfield, will be
held
Monday, July 31, at 11 a.m. at the Brownfield Church of Christ, with Bob
Reynolds and
Derek McNamara officiating. Burial will take place in the Terry County
Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Green died Friday, July 28, 2006 at Boerne. She was born Dec.
9, 1922 in Tokio
to William and Ethel Martin. She graduated from Brownfield High School, and
married
Raymond Green Aug. 31, 1941 in Tokio.
They farmed in the area for many years until retiring in 1998. Her husband
preceded her
in death Aug. 14, 1991. She was a member of the Brownfield Church of Christ.
Green is survived by a daughter, Caroyl Green of Boerne; a son, Pat Green of New
Mexico; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded
in death by two sons, Pete Green in 1982 and Lawrence Green in 1999.
