Dorothy Nell Gore, 85, of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m., Monday,
September 27, 2010, at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds
officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under
the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Dorothy will be in state Sunday from noon to 8 p.m. Dorothy passed away Thursday, September 23, 2010, in a Plainview hospital. She was born November 13, 1924, in Ethel, Mississippi to Dillard and Stella McDonald Graham and married Alfred Harold Gore on April 26, 1946, in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1987. She was an office clerk at Energas for 35 years until retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW and Brownfield Church of Christ. Dorothy is survived by two nieces, Dorothy Jo Cannon of Amarillo and Gayle Gore of Brownfield; two nephews, Herbert Gore of Northridge, Calif., and Jim Gore of Vancouver, Wash.; And several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
