passed away Saturday, May 23, 2009, at his residence in Brownfield.
Rosary was held Monday, May, 25, at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. Funeral service was held Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Templo Bethel in Brownfield with Rev. Santos Gamez officiating. Burial followed at Brownfield Cemetery. Personal services are under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Mr. Gomez was born Feb. 5, 1979, to Freddie Gomez and Josie Trevino in Brownfield. He attended schools in Brownfield and worked as a general laborer in Lubbock. He is survived by his wife, Lalie, of Lubbock; parents, Freddie and step-mom Betty Gomez of Brownfield, Josie Trevino and step-father Carlos Mayo of Wellman and mother-in-law, Mary Nunez of Brownfield; four sons, Brandon, Anthony, Augustine and Gustavo Gomez, all of Lubbock; one daughter, Desiree Gomez of Lubbock; five brothers, David, Stevie and Manuel Gomez, all of Lubbock, Freddie Gomez, Jr. of Brownfield, and Robert Martinez, Jr. of Brownfield; three sisters, Jennifer Gomez of Brownfield, Amy Rodriguez of Lubbock and Elizabeth Martinez of Brownfield.
