70, of Brownfield passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010, at her
home in Brownfield. Memorial services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday August 28, 2010, at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds and Bo Shero officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Cemetery at 9 a.m. prior to the service. Clarice was born October 4, 1939, in Lamesa to Clarence and Marie Cornett. She graduated from Brownfield High School. She attended Abilene Christian University. Clarice married Don Godwin on February 8, 1960, in Abilene. She and Don were life-long residents of Brownfield. She was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. Clarice is survived by her husband, Don of Brownfield; a son, Clinton Godwin and wife Celia of Broken Arrow, Okla.; daughter, Donice Jordan and husband John of McKinney; five grandchildren, Blake Godwin, Trevor Godwin, Amanda Jordan, Casey Jordan and Stephanie Jordan. The family suggests memorials to the New Mexico Childrens Home in Portales, N.M.
