Dale Eugene Gilley, 59, of Brownfield were held Friday, October 5,
2007, at Shady Oaks Church of God with Rev. Eugene Ballard and Don
McWhorter officiating. Interment was in Terry County Memorial
Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Dale passed away Wed. Oct. 3, 2007, at his home in Brownfield. He was born Sept. 13, 1948, in San Jose, CA. to Don and Wanda Gilley and graduated from Sunnyvale High School in 1967. He received an Associate Degree in Accounting from Drauns Business College. He married Judy Wood, July 9, 1969, in Juarez, Mexico. They moved to Brownfield in 1986. Dale enjoyed artistry, gardening, model cars and animals. He was a member of Shady Oaks Church of God. He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Judy of Brownfield; his mother Wanda Gilley of Brownfield; a sister Bonnie Feazell and her husband, Jerry, of Lubbock; two brothers, Rodney and his wife Dena of Lubbock and Rick and his wife Doris of Midland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
