Mamie Earl Howell George, 92 of Kilgore, Texas passed away
Friday, January 5, 2007 in Kilgore, Texas. She was a former
longtime resident of Brownfield, Texas.   Services were Tuesday,
January 9, 2007 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with the
Rev. Bruces Wells officiating.   Interment was Wednesday,
January 10, in the Meadow Cemetery in Meadow, Texas with
Rev. Jack Matlock officiating.

Mrs. George was born on January 31, 1914 in Know County,
Texas to the late Jess and Mary Howell. She was married to
the late Cecil George.

Mr. and Mrs. George had three daughters and she worked in the home.   She was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Brownfield, where she served faithfully as a Sunday School Teacher and Nursery worker.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in law, Joyce Riddles and D.T. of Gladewater, Texas and Sue Brown and David of Pittsburg, Texas;
grandchildren, Gary Riddles of Gladewater, Texas, Leesa and Fred Stanley of Madill, Okla., Michael and Kim Brown, Greensboro, N.C., Robert and Dawn Brown, New Bern, N.C., Charlotte and Carl Cox,Pittsburg, Texas, Debbie Miers, Pflugerville, Texas, David and Rita Cooper, Roanoke, Texas, Patricia and Terry Rea, Andrews, Texas; eighteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. George was preceded in death by her parnets, her husband, Cecil George, a daughter, Wanda Cooper, an infant son, a sister, and three brothers.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Liberty City Building Fund, and to the Pittsburg Emanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.
