| Services for
Denny S. "Scotty" George, Jr., 28, of Brownfield were held at 10
a.m. Monday, December 20, 2010, at Brownfield First Baptist Church
with pastor Chris Galanos officiating. Burial followed in Terry
County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
home. Scotty passed away Friday, December 17, 2010, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. He was born March 18, 1982, in Lubbock to Scott and Kenya Brashears George. He graduated from Coronado High School in 2001. He then attended and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance. He is preceded in death by his mother, Kenya Brashears Minnix. Scotty is survived by his father, Scott George, and step mother Kim of Lubbock; sister, Stormy of Lubbock; brother, Sterling George of Lubbock; grandparents, Tommy and Pat Brashears and Dale and Trucene George, all of Brownfield; aunt, Shauna George of Brownfield; uncles, Gary Brashears of Seattle and Rodney Brashears of Brownfield; several more aunts, uncles and cousins.
