Veronica Garcia, 59, of Brownfield were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday,
March 6, 2012, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church under the direction
of Brownfield Funeral Home. Veronica was born June 8, 1952, in Brownfield to Frederico and Maria Morin, and attended Brownfield schools. She married Joe Garcia, Sr. on May 4, 1968. She was a dedicated nurse at South Plains Nursing Home for 20 years and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Veronica is survived by her husband, Joe Garcia Sr., of Brownfield; her parents, Frederico and Maria Morin of Brownfield; her son, Joe Garcia Jr. and wife Hollie of Shawnee Okla.; her three daughters, Leslie Salas and husband Eliseo of Plainview, Lila Garcia of Austin, Lisa Garcia of Brownfield; her six grandchildren, Sergio Garcia, Diego Garcia, Briana Salas, Eliseo Salas, Tommy Joe and Courtney Garcia; her great grandson, Marcelino Perez IV; and her five sisters and one brother. |
