Garcia, 59 of Brownfield passed from this life on March 1, 2011.
Visitation will be at Primera Iglesia Bautista Church in Brownfield
at 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 02, 2011, and 1:00 P.M. -
8:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 03, 2011. There will be a prayer
service at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday and Thursday. Services will be
10:00 A.M. Friday, March 4, 2011, at Primera Iglesia Bautista Church
in Brownfield with Pastor Timotello Miranda officiating. Burial
will follow at Brownfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Garcia was born on June 14, 1951, to Juan and Filomena Garcia in Robstown, Texas. She married the love of her life Matias Garcia in 1974 in Oklahoma. Mrs. Garcia is remembered best for her love of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially singing to her grandchildren. She played softball and never missed a softball game her granddaughter played. She loved going to church and creating with her arts and crafts. Those left to
cherish her memory are her husband Matias Garcia of the home; 3
Sons: Eddy Garza and Fidencio Garcia both of Brownfield, and Matias
Garcia, Jr of Lubbock; 2 Daughters: Amanda and Melinda Garcia both
of Lubbock; 2 Brothers: Juan Garcia, Jr of Midland and Arturo Garcia
of Brownfield; 12 Sisters: Hilda Mancha of Odessa, Gloria Flores of
Meadow and Martha Hernandez, Maria Garcia, Beatrice Rojas, Olga
Miranda, Erlinda Reyna, Diana Salas, Armelinda Salas, Irma Garcia,
Esperanza Garcia, and Estella Alaniz all of Brownfield; and 12
Grandchildren. |
