| Alfredo Gamez,
Jr., age 56, passed away July 7, 2011, at his residence in
Brownfield. Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, July 11,
2011, at 10:00 a.m. at the Templo Betel Church in Brownfield. Pastor
Ricardo Morin will officiate. A Prayer Service will be held
Saturday and Sunday nights July 9th and 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the
Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel. Personal services are being provided
by Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors in Brownfield. Mr. Gamez was born November 6, 1954, to Alfredo and Isabel Gamez in Brownfield. He worked as a farm hand. He was a member of the Templo Betel Baptist Church. Mr. Gamez enjoyed being outside. He loved working in his yard and being with his family, especially playing with his nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his parents, Alfredo and Isabel Gamez, Sr. of Brownfield; 1 Daughter, Judy Rodriguez of Brownfield; 7 Brothers: Santos Gamez, Manuel Gamez, Gilbert Gamez, George Gamez, David Gamez, Larry Gamez and Lee Gamez all of Brownfield; 5 Sisters: Virginia Rodriguez, Dora Campos and Maria Soto, all of Brownfield, Julia Hernandez of Seagraves and Erma Chavira of Lamesa; 4 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Elvia Gamez, 2 Sisters: Esther Alvarado and Yolanda Gamez and 1 Niece, Gloria Balerazas Brownfield News |
