Lawrence Weldon Fulford, 91, of Brownfield will be at 10 a.m.,
Thursday, March 6, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom
Moore officiating. Burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in
Resthaven Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Mr. Fulford went home to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Lubbock. He was born Aug. 14, 1916, to Lathe Walter and Susan E. Moorehead Fulford, in Purvis. Mr. Fulford married Drucilla Minnie Collier, Aug. 15, 1937, in Lubbock and they had four beautiful children together. They moved to Terry County in 1951. She preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 2001. Mr. Fulford farmed in and around Brownfield all of his adult life, did custom cotton stripping, hauled propane and worked odd jobs to support his family. He is survived by four children--Larry of Brownfield, Jorita Shaffer of Lubbock, Ruth Cantrell of Lubbock and Loyd and his wife--Diane of Brownfield.
