                                Services for Glynna Faye Franks, 78, of Brownfield, were held Friday, May 19,
                                in the Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Payne officiating.  Burial was in
                                Terry County Memorial Cemetery.   

                                Mrs. Franks died Wednesday, May 17, 2006, in Lubbock.    She was born
                                Nov. 20, 1927, in O'Donnell and was married to Rufus E. Franks on Nov 6, 1946,
                                in Brownfield.    She was a 1944 graduate of Brownfield High School and attended
                                Texas Tech Univ.

                                She is survived by her husband; one daughter: Sheryl Posey and her husband,
                                Roger, of Brownfield; one son:  Dr. Darrell Franks and his wife, Donna, of
                                Lubbock, and by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.   She was preceded in
                                death by one brother, Mack Ross, and by one sister, LaRue Gaither.
