William P. Forbes, Jr. of Brownfield will be at 2 p.m., Thursday,
Feb. 7, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Payne
officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial
Cemetery. Mr. Forbes died Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, in Brownfield. He was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Red River County to William and Katie Forbes. He moved with his family to Brownfield in 1917 and attended Pleasant Valley Schools. He married Glenna Louise Smith on April 3, 1943, in Denver City. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife--Glenna of Brownfield; two sons--Ronnie of Brownfield and William of Harlingen; five grandchildren--Leeann, Klint, Michael, Clay and Bridget and five great-grandchildren.
