Obituary for Raul M. Fonseca

Services for Raul M. Fonseca, 40, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Rosary will be Monday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Raul passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, in Amarillo. He was born January 14, 1972, to Raymond and Ofelia (Martinez) Fonseca in Brownfield and graduated from Sundown High School. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. Raul was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Fonseca; grandparents, Maria Salas and Daniel Fonseca, Sr.

Raul is survived by his parents, Raymond and Ofelia Fonseca of Bayfield, CO; a sister, Ramona Nava and husband C.J. of Bayfield, CO; 2 daughters, Geneva and Maribel Fonseca of Sundown; a son, Raymond Fonseca of Sundown; grandmother, Leocida Fonseca; grandfather, Luis Salas, Jr both of Brownfield; several aunts and uncles; nephews, Alec Rodriguez and Ryan Nava; a niece, Rachel Nava; friend, Roxanna Cole.
