                                Services for L.T. Flournoy, 76, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m.,
                                Saturday, Oct 7, in the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Reed
                                officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

                                Mr. Flournoy died Sunday, Oct 1, 2006, in Lubbock.   He was born Oct. 5, 1929,
                                in Nacogdoches to J. B. and Augusta Flournoy and was married to Elsie Fininen
                                 on Nov. 27, 1957, in Brownfield. She preceded him in death.

                                Mr. Flournoy moved to Brownfield in 1956. He was a member of the
                                New Hope Baptist Church.

                                He is survived by one daughter:  Brenda L. Brown of Mesquite; one son:  Dan
                                of Denton and two grandchildren:  Sylvia Green of Mesquite and Sandra Lang
                                of Dallas.    Mr. Flournoy is also survived by five great-grandchildren: 
                                Brittney Fuller, Brieanna Thompson, Jazztavion Fuller, Shadayla Lang and
                                Unjele Fuller, all of Dallas.

                                He is also survived by one brother:  Tommy Lee of Lubbock and five sisters:
                                Lorine Fuller, Tommie Burse and Kathy Gibson, all of Brownfield; Bobbie Jean
                                Haggerty of Chicago, Illinois, and Libby Ranson of Houston.

                                Mr. Flournoy was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dewey, and
                                one sister, Mary Jean Edwards.
