Finley was born Aug. 23, 1943, to Lester and Cora Finley. He died
April 21 in Fort Worth. Mr. Finley is survived by his wife, Naomi; three step-children and four step-grandchildren; his son, James Aaron Finley and his wife Carmen of Azle, daughters Holly Finklea and her husband Mark, Elizabeth Ritchey and her husband Steven of Dallas; sisters Marie Brooks of Van Horn, Melma Fowler and her husband Carlos of Lockwood, Mo., Wanda Stafford and her husband Don of Chowchilla, Calif.; brother Roy Finley and his wife Wilma of Brownfield; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was formerly of Brownfield. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22, in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Travis Curry of Bethel Baptist Church officiating. Brownfield News |
