Tim passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in Wolfforth. He was born Aug. 2, 1920, in Mitchell County to James Aaron and Ollie Edna Faulkenberry. He graduated from Loraine High School in 1938 and married Earlene Brown on August 25, 1941, in Colorado City, Texas.

He was a WWII Army Veteran serving in the Pacific as an Infantry Scout in combat. He then attended Texas A&M University and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1951. He graduated in the top ten of his class. That same year, Tim and his wife moved to Brownfield and set up their practice. They built their animal hospital in 1955. He was a life member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Tim had been a member of Lions International for 58 years and a member of the Noon Lions Club for 50 years. He was a Charter Member of the Loraine Lions Club and had been given two life memberships to the Lion's Club Crippled Children's Camp for donations and work to help the camp. Tim had served on the board of First United Methodist Church for 21 years. He was a trustee for the Brownfield Independent School District and for the Texas Association of School Boards. He donated his time to the Terry County Junior Livestock shows for 37 years, providing free health papers for entrants. Tim was a member of Brownfield First United Methodist Church, where he was past chairman of the Worship Committee, trustee for the church property, member of the sanctuary choir and the finance committee.

His greatest joy had been to see his children graduate college and achieve successful careers. He loved to spoil his grandchildren and watch them grow.
