services for Sharon Kay Fairchild, 54, of Brownfield will be at 4
p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Randy Hamilton and Rev. Jerry Hatfield officiating. Sharon passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at her home in Brownfield. She was born October 24, 1956, in Brownfield to Tom and Pearl Pitts. She graduated from Brownfield High School in1975 and married James Fairchild September 15, 1979, in Brownfield. Sharon received a Bachelor of Science in Theology from Mt. Vernon Bible College in 1979. She worked as a dog handler for Interquest Detection K-9 Corporation. She was a member of the Four Square Church. She is survived by her husband, James, of Brownfield; her mother, Pearl Pitts, of Brownfield; a sister, Margie Patterson of Abilene; a brother, Richard Pitts of Carlsbad, N.M.; three nieces; four great nieces and four great nephews. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association or the Friends of the Brownfield Animal Shelter, 1028 US HWY 82, Brownfield, TX 79316. Brownfield News |
