Church of God. Interment will be in Terry County
Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Bertie Lee passed away Thursday, February 1, 2007, at her home in Brownfield. She was born February 28, 1937, in Brownfield to Leon and Mildred May and attended Brownfield Schools. She married S. M. Dill on February 9, 1954, in Lubbock. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2004. She and her husband farmed for over 50 years. She was a member of the Nazarene Church. She is also preceded in death by a son, Leroy Dill, in 1997. Grandsons will be pallbearers. She is survived by two sons, Charles and David Dill of Brownfield; two daughters, Beverly Callaway and Anita Peacock of Brownfield; 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; three sisters, Etta Robins of Lubbock, Joyce Barham of Seminole and Rosie Dill of Breckenridge.
