Obituary for Clariece Davis

Services for Clariece 'mom' Davis, 83, of Brownfield will be held at
10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the First Baptist Church Chapel with
Rev. Eddie McHugh and Rev. Randy Land officiating.

Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Davis died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2007 in Lubbock. She was born Dec. 5, 1923 to Willis and Mattie Wagner and was married to Grady Davis on Aug. 20, 1941 in Brownfield. He died on Oct. 1, 2001.

Mrs. Davis moved with her family to Terry County in 1936 and graduated from Union School. She was a member of the Brownfield First Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter---Janice Timmons and her husband---Mike of Brownfield; one son---James and his wife---Sally of Seminole and by eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Davis is also survived by three sisters---Josephine Robison of Lubbock, Juna Smith of Brownfield and Nadene Brown of Memphis, Tenn.
