Floyd Clifton Danielson

Memorial Services for Floyd Clifton Danielson, 80, of Brownfield, will be held
at a later date under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. He
died
Tuesday, January 17, 2006, in Brownfield.
Mr. Danielson was born May 8, 1925, in Marshall County, Minn., to Dave and
Olga Danielson and was married to Kathleen "Mickey" Nordlum-Gullickson.
She preceded him in death. He was later married to Virginia
Diehl in 1974.
He graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, Minn., in 1943, and
was a US Army veteran with service in the Korean Conflict. He
retired from the
Army in 1975 as a Warrant Officer Four. He received the Korean
Service Medal,
Army Commendation Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and other medals.
Mr. Danielson and his wife were representatives at both the State and National
Senior Olympics and he was also an honorary life member of the American Legion,
having served as financial officer for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; 4 daughters: Geraldine Sawitz and
her husband,
Reb, of Wildomar, Calif., Kathy Birdseye and her husband, Waler, of Tacoma,
Wash.,
Cynthia Carso and her husband, Joe, of Florence, Ore., and LeAnn Baile of
Tarzana,
Calif.
He is also survived by 3 stepchildren: Randy Ralston and his wife, Sue, of
Brownfield,
Ronald Ralston and his wife, Darlene, of Dallas, and Marta Barringer and
her
husband, Steve, of Hobbs, NM.
Mr. Danielson is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12
great-grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by one daughter, Shawn Danielson.
