"G.G." Cox, 87, of Brownfield, passed away Feb. 14, 2009, in
Brownfield. Services were held Feb. 17 at Terry County Memorial
Cemetery. G. G. was born on March 26, 1921, in Lamar County to Frank and Mary Cox. He moved with his family from Oklahoma to Brownfield in 1927, where he attended schools. He worked for Goodpasture for 23 years as a truck driver until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and four sisters. Grady is survived by his daughter, Diane "Pokey" Cox, of Brownwood; two sons, Gary Cox and his wife Debby of Brownfield and Butch Cox and his wife Rene of Christoval; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces.
