Contreras passed from this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at
Brownfield Regional Medical Center. A rosary was held Saturday, January 16, 2010, at Mark A. Jones Memorial Chapel in Brownfield. Services were held that afternoon in the same location. Burial followed at Brownfield Cemetery. Personal services were under the direction of Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield. Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Jesus Contreras and Samantha Rivera of Brownfield; paternal grandparents, Jesus and Rosa Contreras of Brownfield; maternal grandparents, Billy and Bertha Alvarado of Brownfield, Paul Rivera of Brownfield; three step-brothers: Zachariah, Tristian and Julius Contreras, all of Brownfield and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
