Services for Glen Collum, 80, of Brownfield were held Tuesday, January 17,
in the First Christian Church with Mike Click officiating. Burial was in
Terry
County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mr. Collum died Saturday, January 14, 2006. He was born Feb 20, 1925, in
Lovington, NM, to the late Bob and Ida Collum and was married to Dixie
McKinney on June 22, 1948, in Brownfield. He was a World War II veteran
where he served as a Sergeant in the 242nd Army Air Force.
Mr. Collum graduated from Pasadena High School. He owned Collum TV in
Brownfield where he serviced televisions for more than 42 years.
He is survived by his wife; 1 son: Gary Collum & wife, Lisa, of Rockwall;
1 grandson: Billy Collum of Point, TX; 1 granddaughter: Blair Collum of
Rockwall and 1 sister: Lois Pruett of San Antonio. He was preceded
in death
by one daughter, Carol, and by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Girls Town.
