| Oneida Collier,
87, of Brownfield passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, in
Brownfield. Services will be at 2 p.m. Oct. 7 at
Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Bob Reynolds
officiating. Interment will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery
under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. The family
received visitors at the funeral home Oct. 6. Oneida was born on June 14, 1922, in Brownfield to Jasper and Osie Proctor and attended schools in Brownfield. She married Pate F. Collier on Oct. 5, 1946, in Brownfield. Together they owned and operated Pate's Mobile Service Station. She was a lifelong member of Brownfield Church of Christ. Oneida is survived by her husband, Pate Collier, of Brownfield; her son, Coleman Collier and his wife Cheryl of Krugerville; her daughter, Claudette Schultz of Brownfield; three grandchildren and three great granchildren.
