services for Goldie Irene Christesson, 99, of Brownfield will be at
10am, Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Terry County Memorial Cemetery
with Joey Cunningham officiating. Services will be under the
direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. Goldie will be in state Friday afternoon until 8pm for viewing. Goldie passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2011, in Brownfield. She was born May 21, 1912, in Stephenville to John and Alice (Williams) Patton and married J.W. Christesson on January 23, 1935, in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1980. She lived in Terry County for 92 years and in the Gomez Community since 1941. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Goldie is also preceded in death by a son, Johnnie; a daughter, Gladys Blocker; and a daughter-in-law, Ida Mae Christesson. She is survived by a son, Joe Christesson of Brownfield; 2 grandsons, Johnny Christesson and Michael Christesson; 4 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren
