Gerald Duane Caswell, 56, of Brownfield will be held at 2 p.m.,
Thursday, April 26, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land
officiating. Mr. Caswell died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at his home. He was born Sept. 14, 1950, in Lubbock and was married to Tere Brungardt on Dec. 8, 1972, in Denver, Colo. Mr. Caswell graduated from Meadow High School in 1969 and from Colorado State Univ. in 1973 with a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics. He was a member of numerous civic and agricultural boards. He was a past president of the Brownfield School Board, Plains Cotton Growers and the Brownfield Co-op Station. Mr. Caswell was a member and deacon of the Brownfield First Baptist Church. He had farmed and ranched in Terry and Yoakum counties his entire life. He is survived by his wife; one son---Eric and his wife---Kathryn of Brownfield and by three daughters---Amanda Haire and her husband---Gregg of Lubbock; Kylie Morin and her husband---Jerome of Brownfield and Alyson Caswell of Lubbock. Mr. Caswell is also survived by three sisters---Roni Taylor and her husband---Steve and Shirla Bayer and her husband---Alan all of Meadow and Laura Mackey and her husband---Philip of Brownfield. He is also survived by his parents---Olane and LaDoyce Caswell of Brownfield and by seven grandchildren---Chase, Kelsey, Natalie, Alec, Ryland, Boston, and Lexi.
