services for Dorothy J. Caswell of Meadow will be at 10 a.m. Monday,
December 15, 2008, at Meadow Cemetery with Bob DuPont and Bob
Reynolds officiating. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 at the
Meadow Church of Christ under the direction of Brownfield Funeral
Home. The funeral home will be open from 12 - 4 p.m. Sunday. Family visitation will be from 3 - 4 p.m. Dorothy passed away on Friday, December 12, 2008, in Brownfield. She was born June 5, 1930 in Lubbock, Texas to Verna G. and Lucille Lee Decker. She attended Meadow Schools. Dorothy married Norman Caswell on November 5, 1946, in Brownfield. She was a member of the Meadow Art Association and Meadow Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by a son, Barry Norman Caswell on October 13, 1981. Dorothy is survived by her husband, Norman of Meadow;2 sons, Monty Dale Caswell and wife Anna Jean of Shallowater, Lanny Bryan Caswell of Meadow; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Darlene Mitchell of El Paso.
