                                            Services for Earlene Cargill, 68, of Brownfield will be 2 pm Monday,
                                            Dec. 11, 2006, at Shady Oaks Church of God with Rev. Eugene Ballard
                                            and Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Interment will be in Terry County
                                            Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

                                            Earlene went to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006
                                            after a brief illness. She was born August 26, 1938 to Earl and Nona Cornett.

                                            She was a life long resident of Brownfield. She graduated from Union High
                                            School and attended Lubbock Business College where she became a
                                            Licensed Vocational Nurse. She spent 40 years working as an LVN. She
                                            married Ray Cargill in July of 1959 in Union. He preceded her in death on
                                            April 9, 2006. Earlene lived her daily life for the Lord and now she is dancing
                                            in heaven. She was a loving wife, mother, nane and friend to so many.  She
                                            will be missed dearly.   Her hobbies were arts, crafts, cooking and sharing her
                                            life with others. She was a member of Shady Oaks Church of God in Brownfield.
                                            Earlene is also preceded in death by her beloved parents.

                                            She is survived by two daughters, Rheanne Cargill of Lubbock, and Stephanie
                                            Moore and her husband, Neal, of Lubbock; a son, Cliff Cargill and his wife Kim,
                                            of Cleveland, TN; five grandchildren, Brandon, Kayla, Christopher, Nathaniel,
                                            and Shekinah; two sisters, Betty Hinson of Brownfield and Genell Ward of
                                            Ropesville; a brother, Royce Cornett, of Brownfield.

                                            The family suggests memorials to Vista Care Hospice, 1717 Norfolk,
                                            Lubbock, TX 79416.    The family will receive visitors at Brownfield Funeral Home,
                                            Sunday afternoon from 3-5 pm.
