Obituary for
Alex Cabrera

Graveside services for Alex Cabrera, 73, of Brownfield were held Friday,
April 21, in the Brownfield Cemetery with Rev. Plutarco Garcia and Rev. Santos
Gomez officiating.
Mr. Cabrera died Tuesday, April 18, 2006. He was born July 16, 1932,
in
Rosebud and was married to Sofia Guiterrez on Aug. 5, 1954. He
was a U.S.Army
veteran and was a member of Bautista Calvario Iglesia.
Mr. Cabrera is survived by his wife; three children: Raul Cabrera, Rene Cabrera
and Ruth Espinoza, all of Brownfield; three brothers: Ben of Brownfield, Lucas
of
Arizona, and Joe, Jr., of Dallas.
He is also survived by eight sisters: Valentina Gomez of Fort Worth, Hope
Morales
of California, Esther Aranda of Dallas, Elidia Santos of Pennsylvania, Frances
Perez
of Amarillo and Clara DeLaO, Isabel Contreras and Luisa Perez, all of
Brownfield.
Pallbearers were Adam Eleazar Lara, Angelica Cabrera, Elisa Cabrera, Emilio
Cabrera, Ed Espinoza and Juan Rodriguez.
