Eula Lennis Burnett, 88, of Brownfield were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
June 9 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.
Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield
Funeral Home. Lennis passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2009, in Brownfield. She was born Sept. 9, 1920, in Konawa, Oka., to Franklin J. and Daisy P. Hollaman. She moved to Brownfield in 1937 and married Arnold S. Burnett on June 14, 1941, in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on April 2, 1985. She was a previous member of Northside Baptist and Bethel Baptist Church and an active member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and five brothers. Lennis is survived by a son, Bruce Burnett and wife Marcy of Ft. Worth; two daughters, Patsy King and husband Deryl of Palestine and Frances Patton and husband Arnold of Brownfield; three brothers, James Hollaman and wife Ila Mae of Post, Steryl Hollaman of Beaver, Okla., and her twin Eul Hollaman and wife Dorothy of California; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
