Obituary for Wilma Nadine Brown

Services for Wilma Nadine Brown, 77, formerly of Brownfield will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2007, at Brownfield First Baptist Chapel with Rev. Randy Land officiating. Burial will follow in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeeral Home.

Nadine passed away Monday, July 30, 2007, in Columbia, TN. She was born Dec. 25, 1929, in Post, Texas to Willis Henry and Martha Mae Wagner. She graduated from Brownfield High School in 1945 and married Howard Wayne Brown, Jan. 26, 1950, in Brownfield, TX. He preceded her in death, May 12, 2001. She and her family lived and worked in the Brownfield Community for many years. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, TN.

Mrs. Brown is survived by a son, Rick Brown, of Dallas; a daughter, Cynda Mathis and her husband Bob, of Chapel Hill, TN.; two sisters, Juna Smith of Brownfield and Josephine Robison of Lubbock; her mother-in-law, Lura Brown, of Brownfield; two grandchildren, John Mathis of Atlanta, GA. and Trina Mathis of Chantilly, VA; and two great-grandchildren.
