Brian (RET) Air Force Chaplain died on Monday, June 4, 2007, in San
Antonio, Texas. He was born Oct. 3, 1915, in Desdemona to Kleber D.
Brian and Elizabeth M. Melton. He served in the Navy, Army and Air Force. A decorated veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, he served tours of duty in the U.S., France, Germany, Japan and Vietnam. After his retirement, he served as minister at Dellview Baptist Church of Helotes for twelve years. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. Mr. Brian is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Billie J. (Swain) Brian. He is also survived by one daughter, Judy Stoy and husband, Thomas, of Stratford; one son, Larry Brian, of San Antonio; one granddaughter, Ashley Hodo and her husband, Chad; one great grandson, Ethan Hodo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7 at 11 a.m. with Funeral Services beginning at noon at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Graveside Services and Burial will be Friday, June 8, at 11 a.m. at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery in Brownfield.
