life service will be held for Johnnie Bolen, 65, of Brownfield at 2
p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Enoch Party House with Rev. Chris
Downer officiating. Johnnie was born February 25, 1945, in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, to William and Jakie Maynord Bolen. He and his family moved to Brownfield in 1945 where he attended Brownfield schools. He was a Vietnam Army veteran, a member of the Disabled Veterans of America and a Mason. Johnnie married Judy Faye Green on June 19, 1966, in Brownfield. He attended Immanuel Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Clyde Bolen; and a sister, Mary Willis. Johnnie is survived by his wife Judy of Brownfield; two daughters, Chellye Drummond and husband David of Ely, Nev., and Christye Lamon of Avery; a son, Chance Bolen and fiance Vannesa of Avery; four grandchildren, Douglas Bolen, Shania Maybury and Brandon and Shawn Lamon; a brother, Harold Bolen of Irving; three sisters, Beatrice Willis of Hobbs, N.M., Clara Bolen of Hobbs and Yvonne Agnew of Brownfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
